Spanish tourism is having a very good year indeed. Last year, some 68 million tourists visited Spain and figures are expected to exceed 70 million in 2016. Spain's tourism sector is readying itself for a record number of arrivals this summer, boosted for the sixth year running.

Great news for Spanish economy. Despite Brexit, holidays are at the top of most people's lists of yearly priorities. Probably little change in this in the future.

The change is that are no countries south of Spain where tourist dare to go. Even Turkey this year was blacklisted by many tourists. That leaves Spain as a no.1 destination.

Torquay (sun is not shining still) has had a good year and this is the same reason plus footy and Brexit. Pretty sure Spain next year will be a bumper year!

Don't you think that in a few months time the dust from Brexit settles in? The first concerns where doom-day like and brits traveling and living in Spain started packing up the day after the Brexit vote. Now the stockmarket is picking up again and EU negotiations starts pulling Britain back in with deals because the can't afford to lose them...
