I am curious about "Branding". It is a term we hear continously, along with "Independence". This is a first class direciton for everybody, but branding needs reach and reinforcement and its hard even when you have a 1000 properties.

Everybody needs to focus on their brand, which is actually a memorable experience, but everybdy needs to think "reach" and how to create those local memories in the journey and in the experience. OTA's have big brand facing automation, anonymity based on ease of transaction and safety. Local brands have experience, personality and information.
