The problems many of the "intermediating ecomm" businesses such as Airbnb, Booking.com etc is that guests think they are booking WITH the brand. Nothing could be further from the truth. They are not tour operators!

None of these companies take liability for the property its quality, its access, its insurance position or the booking itself. This article on the Rentivo website is worth reading if you're a guest!
