Who We Are

After a few years in the rental wilderness, SmartHosts has been reinvented and refocused on what we know best: Short Term Rentals. The articles we produced some years ago are all still available and are republished on this site but will slowly disappear down the list as new information frequently hits the home page.

Content is only generated by long-standing members of the short-term rental world and have been managers, or very successful STR hosts over several years.

We will be bringing snapshot news and views, opinions and opportunities. In its last incarnation, we mailed over 10,000 hosts regularly. Like most businesses, we got distracted by our tech owner, and the free posts we offered became blanketed by spam tech businesses promoting their wares.

So yes, you may see limited promotions, but this is all about you and your STR business and us bringing salient and free content.
